My Cuppa Coffee is built on honest recommendations and genuine café experiences. These guidelines exist to keep reviews useful, conversations respectful, and the platform trustworthy for everyone.
2. Review guidelines
- Be honest and fair. Base reviews on your actual experience at the café.
- Be specific. Share what you ordered, what you enjoyed, and what could be better.
- Be respectful. Never use reviews to harass, threaten, or discriminate against staff, owners, or other customers.
- No promotion or spam. Reviews are not a place for advertising other businesses or unrelated content.
- One review per visit. Submit one honest review for each distinct visit.
3. What is not allowed
- Fake reviews, whether positive or negative
- Reviews written by people affiliated with the café (owners, staff, friends asked to boost ratings)
- Hate speech, slurs, or discrimination of any kind
- Personally identifiable information about staff members (full names, photos, contact details)
- Content that breaches any applicable law
4. Café owner responses
- Respond professionally, even to critical reviews.
- Do not reveal customer personal information in responses.
- Address concerns constructively. Where appropriate, invite the reviewer to reach out privately.
- Do not offer incentives (free drinks, discounts, stamps) in exchange for positive reviews or for changing reviews.
5. Reporting
Every review has a report button. Use it if you see content that breaches these guidelines. Reports are reviewed by the MCC team within 48 hours, and we’ll take action where warranted.
6. Enforcement
Violations of these guidelines may result in review removal, an account warning, or account suspension. Serious or repeated breaches may lead to permanent removal from the platform.
