Café Owner Terms

1. Agreement

By registering a café on My Cuppa Coffee, you agree to these business terms and to our Privacy Policy. These terms are in addition to the general platform terms.

2. Business account

You must be authorised to represent the café you register. All information you provide must be accurate and kept current, including trading name, address, hours, and ownership details.

3. Listing obligations

Keep your opening hours, contact details, and amenity information accurate. Do not misrepresent your café’s characteristics: accurate listings are essential to the integrity of personality matching.

MCC reserves the right to adjust tags or listing attributes if a listing is found, on review, to be materially inaccurate.

4. Subscription tiers

We offer Free, Starter, Growth, Premium, and Enterprise tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You can upgrade at any time; downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

5. Founding Member programme

The first 50 cafés to register receive three months free on the Growth tier. At the end of the promotional period you may select any paid plan or revert to Free. No automatic billing occurs at the end of the promotion; you must choose to continue.

6. Loyalty programme obligations

You are responsible for fulfilling the rewards you define. MCC facilitates stamp collection; reward delivery is between you and the consumer. Honour your rewards. Repeated failure to do so may result in removal from the platform.

7. Customer data

You receive aggregated analytics only. You must not attempt to identify individual consumers, and you must not use MCC data for any purpose outside the platform. Data shared with you is subject to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and applicable Australian privacy law.

8. API and webhooks

API and webhook access is available on Premium and above. Rate limits apply. You must not use the API to scrape, extract, or bulk-export data for use outside the platform.

9. Reviews

You may publicly respond to reviews of your café. You must not solicit, incentivise, manipulate, or falsify reviews. You may report reviews that breach our Community Guidelines.

10. Intellectual property

The MCC personality matching system, coffee personality quiz, recommendation algorithm, and consumer intelligence outputs are MCC’s proprietary intellectual property. You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, replicate, derive, or independently implement any part of these systems, whether from the dashboard interface, exported analytics, or otherwise.

11. Termination

You can cancel your business account at any time. Active loyalty members of your café’s programmes will be notified. Outstanding rewards earned by consumers before cancellation remain your responsibility to honour.

12. Limitation of liability

MCC does not guarantee any specific customer volume, revenue, or business outcome. Our total liability in any 12-month period is capped at the fees you paid us during that period.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
