1. Agreement to these terms
By creating an account or otherwise using My Cuppa Coffee (“MCC”, “we”), you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. Account registration
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You must provide accurate information and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for any activity on your account.
3. The personality quiz
Quiz responses generate a coffee personality profile that powers your café recommendations. Results are algorithmic, not professional advice. You can retake the quiz at any time.
4. Café discovery and matching
Match scores are recommendations, not guarantees. Café information is provided by café owners and MCC does not independently verify every detail. Visit cafés at your own discretion.
5. Universal loyalty card
You receive one universal loyalty card per account. Stamps are earned according to each café’s programme rules, and rewards are subject to availability at the café. MCC facilitates the stamp system but is not responsible for reward fulfilment by individual cafés.
6. Reviews
Reviews must be honest, first-hand, and free of defamation, spam, or harassment. MCC reserves the right to remove reviews that breach our Community Guidelines. You retain ownership of your review content and grant MCC a non-exclusive licence to display it on the platform.
7. Consumer Premium
Optional Consumer Premium subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You can cancel any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to: create fake accounts, attempt to game the stamp or reward system, harass other users, scrape or bulk-export platform data, or reverse-engineer any aspect of the platform.
9. Intellectual property
The MCC platform, the coffee personality quiz, the matching system, and the personality framework are proprietary to MCC. You may not copy, modify, publish, or distribute any part of the platform without our written permission.
10. Limitation of liability
The platform is provided “as is” and “as available”. MCC is not liable for your café experiences, food quality, allergic reactions, or any loss arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability in any 12-month period is capped at the fees you paid us during that period.
11. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or our community guidelines.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Queensland courts.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be notified by email. Continued use after a notified change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
